3 months!

Sorry I haven't updated in so long! It's been a crazy whirlwind of a summer as I am sure most of you know.

For a quick update: I'm engaged! Yay! Adam and I are getting married November 6, 2010 in SLC, Utah. We are super thrilled and can't wait to start our lives together.

I am at work right now so can't really post much (pictures, etc) but I will try and do that tonight.

PS: The blog address will be changing since it won't be "just us 2 girls" anymore! Also they changed how the layouts of blogs work leaving me incredibly frustrated trying to fix it, so bare with me as I play around with it.

So Much to Update

Sorry readers that I haven't updated in a long time!!! I will try and sit down when I get home today and update it. For now I thought I would at least post a note saying hello. I will take a lot of pics when I get home too. So much to share, new home, work, Chloe's schoool and Adam. :)

Moving Update!!!

Okay so I will be moving hopefully by the end of the month! I gave notice as April 15th but only so I can get the place clean after moving. Tonight I just got really excited for moving and I am very ready for a new beginning. I did not get the job in Moab and so I will be living with my friends Ed and Shonna Payne in Bountiful, Utah. I will send everyone my address soon. Ed and Shonna are two wonderful people who have always been there if I needed it. I was in there daughters wedding a few years ago and she and her husband are some of my closest friends. They have a beautiful home with 2 bedrooms and a storage unit they are willing to open up to us. They have a swing set in their backyard for their grand kids so Chloe will love that. I believe they also have horses at a stable nearby which I am sure we will get to meet too. This will be a good place to be while I am still job hunting and will give me more time and be able to save more money. We will be close to Brendan and Trina, and of course Anna, Ellery and Baby B. Being close to Anna was one of Chloe's requests, even though I know they might not be there past May. :(

Anyway, that is all for now and here is a cute picture of Chloe who is growing up way to fast for my liking.

Moving

So sorry I haven't posted in awhile. I am still job hunting and it's a slow process, out of 50 jobs applied to I have had one interview. Things in Pocatello's job market are not good, so after a lot of prayer and fasting I am moving to Utah. I am waiting to hear from the one interview on the job and if I get it I will move to Moab, Utah which is desert land in southern Utah. If I don't get that job ( as a school secretary) then I will be moving to Bountiful, Utah. Some good friends have offered Chloe and I houseroom while I job hunt. This is a good blessing as I will have little to no living expenses staying with them.

Not much else to say but I will post again when I know where I am going.

Still Hunting

As most of my readers know I am out of a job. I lost my job very unexpectedly last Friday. I was shocked and confused. But I refused to let it get to me ( too much) and headed straight for Utah to find a job. I have so far applied to 20 different positions. I heard back from one today that it was filled. As for the rest I am still hopeful that I will get some interviews. Please continue to pray for me. I am very grateful to my brother Brendan and his sweet wife Trina (www.trinasdoings.blogspot.com) for allowing Chloe and I to sleep in their living room this week. Chloe is now with her dad for some time and I have temporarily returned to Pocatello to finish up some business here. I will look for jobs here, but feel I should be in Utah. Hopefully that is a feeling prompted by the Spirit. If not I have no clue what I am doing! lol

I am going to go crazy not having a routine, but I realized that even if it takes some time that right job will come along and for now I need to find some activities in addition to job hunting that keep me busy.
