Life is crazy busy with a 3 year old and trying to do things on my own. I worked a crazy 50 hours this week so I didn't have much time to play with my new camera. So here are a few below. They are not great, but I can't wait to actually get out and take some more!
This was my first test shot of the camera. I only had a 55-200mm lens while my 18-55 came in so close up shots weren't easy, but there wasn't much else to shoot.

This is Chloe last Sunday after I picked her up from her dad's house. All the shots of Chloe except the last 2 were taken with a neat Program on my new camera for "Kids" It sets the camera to expect sudden movements!

Cheesy Face

Crazy hair that she came home with

Playing on the computer
This is what her hair looked like after I took it out

Here is is pretending to sleep

Hiding from the camera

I should feel a little bad about these last 2 shots because they were taken while she was sleeping (mostly peacefully). Chloe is a sleep talker and sometimes it's just fun to listen to her, she was talking a lot tonight so I snuck in and took these shots on the Nightime Program feature. Which is why her eyes are covered and squinty because it lights up the area just before flashing and taking the shot. She stayed asleep.

Chloe talks a lot as I said and I am a light sleeper so it often wakes me up. I am not getting much sleep because in addition to that she is also refusing to wear nighttime pullups to bed and so has frequent accidents. The problem that she is having is that her body starts sending the signals that she needs to go and for some reason she can't quite pull herself out of it to get up and and use the bathroom. Instead she whimpers and holds herself until she can't anymore. (Her sheets are becoming well worn in the wash) . So it is like having a newborn again because I am up 2 to 3 times carrying her to the bathroom. Most of the time she stays asleep but once she is on the pot she does her business and it's like she never left bed. Still trying to figure out how to take care of this so we both aren't losing sleep. I have cut way back on the amount of liquid she gets before bed, but it hasn't helped much. Guess time will tell.
We didn't do anything or Valentine's today except work. Chloe and I went into work at 1pm and stayed until 6. She was pretty good through most of it. We had been invited to a "Single Awareness" Party but with us both under the weather I decided to skip. Instead we had a roast that I put in the crockpot before leaving that morning. It was sooo good.
Dave and I chatted a little this morning before heading off to various locations. He was heading into the mountains to snowshoe. I haven't heard from him since. I hope he hasn't gotten lost. That would not make me happy. Things with him are going well, we met about 9 months ago and had our first date 8 1/2 months ago. The pace is good for both of us while we get our lives settled. His practice is underway and struggling a bit, but I have complete faith in him and know that he can make it work.
That's all for now. Talk to you Soon!
