Time is not my friend
Life is crazy busy with a 3 year old and trying to do things on my own. I worked a crazy 50 hours this week so I didn't have much time to play with my new camera. So here are a few below. They are not great, but I can't wait to actually get out and take some more!
This was my first test shot of the camera. I only had a 55-200mm lens while my 18-55 came in so close up shots weren't easy, but there wasn't much else to shoot.

This is Chloe last Sunday after I picked her up from her dad's house. All the shots of Chloe except the last 2 were taken with a neat Program on my new camera for "Kids" It sets the camera to expect sudden movements!

Cheesy Face

Crazy hair that she came home with

Playing on the computer

This is what her hair looked like after I took it out

Here is is pretending to sleep

Hiding from the camera

I should feel a little bad about these last 2 shots because they were taken while she was sleeping (mostly peacefully). Chloe is a sleep talker and sometimes it's just fun to listen to her, she was talking a lot tonight so I snuck in and took these shots on the Nightime Program feature. Which is why her eyes are covered and squinty because it lights up the area just before flashing and taking the shot. She stayed asleep.

Chloe talks a lot as I said and I am a light sleeper so it often wakes me up. I am not getting much sleep because in addition to that she is also refusing to wear nighttime pullups to bed and so has frequent accidents. The problem that she is having is that her body starts sending the signals that she needs to go and for some reason she can't quite pull herself out of it to get up and and use the bathroom. Instead she whimpers and holds herself until she can't anymore. (Her sheets are becoming well worn in the wash) . So it is like having a newborn again because I am up 2 to 3 times carrying her to the bathroom. Most of the time she stays asleep but once she is on the pot she does her business and it's like she never left bed. Still trying to figure out how to take care of this so we both aren't losing sleep. I have cut way back on the amount of liquid she gets before bed, but it hasn't helped much. Guess time will tell.
We didn't do anything or Valentine's today except work. Chloe and I went into work at 1pm and stayed until 6. She was pretty good through most of it. We had been invited to a "Single Awareness" Party but with us both under the weather I decided to skip. Instead we had a roast that I put in the crockpot before leaving that morning. It was sooo good.
Dave and I chatted a little this morning before heading off to various locations. He was heading into the mountains to snowshoe. I haven't heard from him since. I hope he hasn't gotten lost. That would not make me happy. Things with him are going well, we met about 9 months ago and had our first date 8 1/2 months ago. The pace is good for both of us while we get our lives settled. His practice is underway and struggling a bit, but I have complete faith in him and know that he can make it work.
That's all for now. Talk to you Soon!

I know!
I know I haven't updated in a while. I will post more after work today including some pictures from my new camera! :D I bought a Nikon D60 with my tax return. So far I like it a lot.
Chloe and I have both been sick this week and I have been working 10 hour days but she's been a trooper through it all. We are both getting used to the new schedule and it is working so far. Her counselor is working with both of us on her compliance issues and bedtime issues. I am really hoping it works because I need more sleep!
More later! much loves, Gwen

Super Bowl Sunday
Super Bowl Sunday was pretty uneventful for Chloe and I. It's been awhile since we have had an actual party since I haven't had anyone to watch football with the last couple years. Regardless I still wanted to see the game. Chloe of course wasn't interested so she watched Jungle Book on the computer while the game was on. Usually I hear her laughing or coughing or calling out for me every few minutes....by halftime I hadn't heard a peep from her so I went to check on her and this is what I found:

Poor little one had fallen asleep watching Jungle Book...her yogurt that she had been eating of course ended up on the floor. Oh well.
In other news I have decided to at least get a new camera with my tax return because the one I have has been beat up enough by Chloe and is just not working properly. It would probably cost me just as much to fix it as to buy a newer one. So I get to shop! =D The rest of my refund will either go to debts or stay in savings.
Hope all is well!

It's Over! (Sort of)
I officially have Primary Custody of Chloe!! Woot! Woot!
Basically what that means is that she gets to live with me the most. She will visit her dad every other weekend and then every other month until Kindergarten she will go visit for a full week. After Kindergarten those 6 weeks will be combined into 3 two week periods during the summer. It's so strange that it is finally over! I mean there will always be issues that arise, but Chloe can finally start to live a semi-normal life!
Super excited I will post more later!

PreSchool!!!
With the New Year Chloe got a New Beginning at Daycare. As a fully potty trained 3 year old she got transferred to the big kid side and that means Preschool! Below is a picture of her first ever preschool work page! I am told that the first lower case "n" she did all by herself! :D The second and thrid pictures are just a few days later!!! The teacher said that while Chloe waited for her turn for one on one time with her that she finished the entire 2 pages of work by herself!!! Note the happy notes from her teacher! She's just growing up too fast!!

In other news the trial has been moved to February 9. Everything has pretty much already been agreed upon except Child Support and other expenses. I have a stipulation to review and sign. If everything looks good, I have to get started on meeting with the Parenting Coordinator, but need to come up with the $500 for that first! Yikes. The Coordinator will help Wes and I determine the best course of parenting styles for Chloe and set guidelines for visitations and schedule changes. He will also be available when problems arise. So hopefully we are near the end!!!

Christmas Fun
So I figured it was about time to get some photos up from my holiday season. Chloe and I were able to spend Christmas (part of it) and New Years with my brother and his family, and my mom and little brother down in Utah. It was wonderful! I hadn't seen my mom in 2 years and the same with my younger brother. We had a lot of fun, and now we are all back to the grind with school and work. I have a lot more photos but this is all for now!

The grandkids in birth order

Chloe & Anna playing play-doh

My brother Mike and nephew (not his son) Pierce

Chloe being silly in my mom's snow boots

Mom laughing at Chloe climb on the huge pile of snow

Almost at the top

Snowball Fight!

Grandma pretending to be scared of the snowball

Grandma throwing (rolling) one back at Chloe
